Review: Sukin's Foaming Facial Cleanser & Moisture Restoring Night Cream

I was in search for a good night cream the past couple of weeks and came across Sukin at Watsons. These days I have been trying to shift into using more organic and natural products after having a go on Lush's products. Looking at how well it helps in restoring my skin, thats when I decided that i need more organic products in my life. Having said that Sukin is definitely one of a good natural skincare line from Australia.

Sukin products do not contain sodium lauryl sulphate, sodium laureth sulphate, synthetic fragrances, animal derivatives, harsh detergents, petro-chemicals, artificial colours, triethanolamine, mineral oils, parabens. Sukin is also against animal testing, which I totally 100% support!
A brief description on my skin type, I have oily t-zones and is prone to hormonal breakouts.

I'm not gonna lie but the main reason I bought Sukin's foaming facial cleanser was because it was on sale. It came in a pack of two which cost RM39.90, 125ml each bottle. Normal price for one is RM36.90. Which I thought was a great deal.. so why not?! It was a good deal worth while to try. I've been using this facial cleanser for two weeks straight to test how well it goes with my skin.

So far.. I'm really loving it! Sukin's foaming facial cleanser is designed for normal/oily skin. Which in my case is suitable for my skin type. However if your skin is more on the dry/mature skin type, Sukin's cream cleanser would suite you better.

One pump would do well for me. It first comes out as a clear liquid but once you lather it up, it will have a little bit of a foam. It is non-drying and totally help me remove the oils that is clogged up on my face. Just the other day I wore mascara and didn't remove all with my make up cleanser. I didn't realise it till I was washing my face and saw black streaks on my eyes. So it definitely help to remove make up too! It does not leave my skin feeling tight unlike some of the facial cleanser, but it totally left my skin feeling soft and clean.

The smell on the other hand smells very organic (hahaha i'm kinda bad at describing scents) it doesn't have a very heavy scent.

Normally after cleansing my face at night with the Sukin's foaming facial cleanser, I would pair it up with Sukin's moisture restoring night cream. The night cream is more rich and thick which is great in helping me to repair my skin while I catch up on my beauty sleep. The Moisture restoring night cream cost around RM 53++ for 120ml, which I think is still affordable considering that it's an organic product. As you can see from the picture below, the cream fills up right almost to the tip of the jar.

Skin healing rose hip, evening primrose and borage oils assist the nightly repair and restoration of healthy skin cells and aloe vera will soothe tired skin.

The consistency of the cream is great! It gives a heavy cream texture but when applying to your skin it spreads out evenly. Just make sure to always keep your hands clean when you dip into the jar to avoid spreading bacteria. The cream doesn't leave a greasy kind of feeling, instead it will be absorbed within a minute and your skin feels smooth and well hydrated. It has a calming and soothing scent which is also great to help you calm yourself before bed.

After using this for two whole weeks, I can feel a difference to my skin. I wake up with a more hydrated and smoother skin. I also feel that my pimples are under control.

I totally enjoyed using this brand and is thinking of purchasing the purifying facial masque. If your interested to know more do check them out here!
